Some dental restoration procedures, such as Root Canal treatments, use Crowns to cap over damaged or weakened teeth, improving the strength, function, and appearance of your teeth. Custom fitted to your needing, Crowns are cemented over your tooth to ensure your security. Crown composites can usually be found using porcelain, ceramics, metal alloys, or a combination of materials.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Also described as Resin fillings; Tooth-colored fillings are one of many ways that we can use to confidently restore the strength and function of your damaged/infected teeth. Made from materials, such as glass and plastic, these fillings are made to match the natural color of your teeth, making this procedure very popular for those who require work on their visible teeth. Compared to other filling options, such as Amalgam fillings, Composite fillings are also great at reducing tooth sensitivity during hotter and colder weather.

Root Canals

The safest, most effective way to save damaged/infected teeth. Also known as endodontic therapy, Root Canal Treatment is designed to save and restore teeth that are damaged at the pulp level. This procedure is typically done under anesthesia. When the pulp of the tooth becomes infected, you are likely to feel pain such as swelling, and sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures. During this procedure, your dentist will remove the damaged pulp, disinfect the inner workings of the tooth, and seal off those root canals to prevent further infection. Restoration methods, such as Crowns, are typically placed over the tooth to cap off the restoration process.

Bridges

Consisting of one or more artificial crowns, this procedure is used to replace rows of missing teeth. Bridges are anchored to our remaining natural teeth, or implants, wherever you need them. Bridges are also fitted with crowns to create a custom-fitted, natural feeling replacement for missing teeth. On top of looking authentic, your bridge work will improve speaking ability (if previously hindered), and improve overall health and function of your teeth and gums.

Dentures

Similar to Crown placements, Dentures are removable, and replace more than one tooth. Dentures can be made to replace teeth due to injury, decay, or other reasons you may have that require treatment. Made from Acrylic, Porcelain, or combinations of materials, you are given Dentures in one of two ways: as a whole set, replacing either the top, bottom, or both sets of teeth, or as a partial set, based on how many of your natural teeth are left. Dentures require proper care, and regular check-ups are important to maintain fit and function.

Extractions

A procedure only required for a handful of reasons, such as severe decay, injury, or to make additional room for orthodontic treatment. During an extraction, a tooth or set of teeth are to be removed from its' socket in the bone. Typically performed while the patient is under anesthesia (or under sedation in some cases), our team loosens the teeth in question, gently moving them out of the socket. Afterwards, based on your specific needs, you will be provided instructions on how to care for the area to promote healing as soon as possible. Extractions are safe and effective, and the healing process will take no longer than a week.

Gum Disease Treatment

Treating Gum Disease means we aim to restore the health of your gums. Preventing Periodontal Disease, a disease that attacks the structure of your teeth, depends on the level of treatment you require. If Gum Disease continues to go untreated, patients will begin dealing with consequences, such as gradual irritation, inflammation, and ultimately, loss of teeth. In the case that you do not require surgical treatment, the procedure can be as simple as removing placque and tartar from under the gum line, smoothing out rough spots on the root surfaces. However, more complicated treatment require the removal of damaged tissue and recontouring of the gums.

Implants

Model of artificial jaw and dental implant

Implants are thought of as an artificial tooth root, because they make for stable foundations for new teeth, such as Crowns and dentures. Generally speaking, Implants are made of biocompatible materials such as titanium, and are surgically placed into the jawbone. Over time, the implant fuses with the bone in a process known as osseointegration, creating strong bonds between the implant and your teeth. Once this fusion is complete, the crowns, bridges, and dentures attach to the post, chewing and speaking ability is improved.

To improve the appearance, Veneers are used to cap over the front portions of your teeth. You would only require if your dental situation involves Discoloration, misalignment, surface level damage, even to cover the gaps in between your teeth. Veneers are perfect for patients that only require cosmetic repairs for their teeth, because they are essentially used to correct dental issues without requiring the more invasive procedures.

Teeth Whitening

A cosmetic procedure involving the use of bleaching agents that lighten the color of your teeth. This procedure is done with the goal of removing stains and discoloration, even from issues stemming from age, smoking, or consuming various foods and beverages. Whitening treatment can typically be performed with the application of a bleaching gel, which is then activated by a special light or laser. Though not suitable for everyone, it is still thought to be a safe way to improve the appearance of your smile.
